CG InvitationalPrivacy policy
Last updated September 27, 2026
CG Invitational is a private website for one annual golf trip among a group of friends. It is not a business, has no ads, and exists only to run the trip: matchups, scores, predictions, awards and photos.
What we collect
- From Google sign-in: your name, email address and Google account ID. We ask Google for nothing else — no contacts, calendar, Drive or other data.
- What you add yourself: the roster name you claim, a profile photo, a short bio, a phone number, swag sizes, predictions, award nominations, golf scores and trip photos.
- Cookies: one to remember that you entered the trip password, the ones that keep you signed in, and one that remembers your light/dark display choice. No tracking or advertising cookies.
How it is used
Only to run the trip site: to know which golfer you are, let you make picks and enter scores, and show your profile to the others on the trip. Everything is behind the trip password, so it is visible only to people on the trip. Your email address is shown only to you and the site admins; your phone number only to signed-in players.
Who it is shared with
Nobody. We do not sell, rent or share your information. It is stored with the services that run the site — Supabase (database, sign-in and photo storage) and Vercel (hosting) — and they hold it only on our behalf.
How long we keep it
Past trips are kept as the group's history, so scores and results stay. You can change or remove your profile details at any time from your profile page.
Deleting your data
Ask Gary, who runs the site, to remove your sign-in, email, phone, photo and anything else you added. You can also revoke the site's access at any time from your Google account's security settings.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it.
